Setting Things Straight

For those of you who have read my book you will know that I believe network marketing; if understood and worked correctly is a business model that makes a lot of sense.

I wrote about it extensively in chapter 8 of my book because my wish was to dispel a lot of the untruths and misunderstanding around this industry and try and raise peoples awareness as to the wonderful opportunity it can present to some.
  
I did this because sadly I see many people trapped in jobs they hate, sacrificing their time for money, sacrificing time with their families and loved ones because they don’t know any better.  I also see people being dramatically affected by the economical downturn and the drought who don’t know what to do or how to ‘ride out’ this current situation.

It is for the above reasons that I believe network marketing can be a great model that can assist a lot of people.  Our society is very conditioned to ‘get a job’ yet many people would like to leave their jobs but don’t have the capital to start a business or the knowledge of what to do.  Again, this is why I support network marketing....not only do you have low start up costs, you have phenomenal support from mentors and business people wanting to help you succeed. 

The sad thing is that network marketing is an industry that is surrounded by suspicion and mistrust only because people do not understand it properly.

Why I am writing this is because I want to clear something up.....I am involved in a network marketing opportunity called Mona Vie.  I am involved in this for two reasons....one, not only do I know first hand that it is a wonderful company whose generosity and integrity continue to amaze me....but two, I believe that if I am a strong supporter of network marketing I must also be involved in a network.

I have said regularly to people that I walk my talk....how could I write about why I believe in this industry but when asked if I am involved in a network marketing opportunity answer ‘no’....it doesn’t really stack up does it?  If I believe in network marketing....I must be involved in the industry as well.

Recently I chatted to someone who had the perception that I had written my book to convince people to become involved in my network marketing opportunity......which could not be further from the truth.  I wrote about why I believe it is an industry that makes sense, only because I have a lot of experience in small and home based businesses and wanted to explain the differences I see and why I believe some business models make sense and why some are becoming outdated.

My passion is about freeing people.....whether this is emotional or financial freedom......I see network marketing as a wonderful start on the road to freedom because it lays the foundation of knowledge one needs to succeed in any business. 

Some of you will be interested in knowing more about Mona Vie and that’s great.  For others who aren’t interested and would like to engage me for my mentoring and coaching knowledge, helping them to understand how to maximize the Law of Attraction in their lives....that’s great as well – it’s your choice....all I do is offer options. 

I am passionate about freeing people to live the lives they love and I do this with integrity and honesty.....I am involved in a network marketing opportunity and I’m proud of it because it’s a wonderful company and a wonderful freedom vehicle for some people.
